who we are
Antler Hill Forge began in a dirt floor barn deep in a holler of central Missouri on a cold December day. The founder, Chuck Stroup, had always wanted to learn how to make knives. His wife gave him an anvil she had gotten from her mother and he grabbed a hammer! The results are displayed in this website.
What we do
Antler Hill Forge creates hand made one of a kind custom blades. We make mono steel, San Mai, and Damascus knives, and no two blades are identical. All pattern welded steel is made in house. Most knives that we make are pre-ordered and made to the specifications of the customer. We do make knives for sale on occasion and we will post them in our shop when available.
Antler Hill Forge is not a full time forge and we have a wait list. We do this because we love it and it's an amazing process of continuous learning. If you order a knife, it will take a few months to receive it. QUALITY over quantity!
